Company Profile

Whitney Veigas designs, supplies, and installs architectural sign programs. We work closely with architects and building owners to create effective and appropriate interior and exterior programs for the buildings in which we live, work, and learn.

With more than 25 years of experience, our services result in sign programs that are efficient, accurate, and cost-effective. Our focus is rooted in the conviction that responsible design is as important for projects with limited budgets, as it is for high-profile projects with more substantial budgets.

We stay small and personal in size with a staff of five. We maintain strong, collaborative relationships with architects, fabricators, and building owners to ensure timely and cohesive results.

Temple Beth Elohim

Temple Beth Elohim

Wellesley, MA
Architect: William Rawn Associates

This new, dramatic, worship and education center was constructed immediately adjacent to the 1950’s era temple, which was demolished to create a landscape courtyard after the new building was completed. Whitney Veigas was honored to be selected to design and supply signs for the project. Included were interior code required signs, donor plaques, Biblical quotations, metal letters and incised lettering on stone.

The sign program is intentionally understated and quiet, in deference to the building’s dramatic interiors and extensive artwork. Almond-metallic colored plaques, layered over frosted glass backers, complement the warm interior palette. Backers for major spaces carry donor recognition text, while larger donor plaques layer frosted and clear glass, held together with custom oxidized bronze mounting hardware to match the doors. Our studio also created artwork for Hebrew texts in the atrium and incised on the high backed wood sanctuary benches.

Brandeis University
Architect: Kallmann McKinnell & Wood

Whitney Veigas was selected by the university to design, fabricate, and install signs for this stunning new building, housing classrooms and faculty offices. Extensive amounts of glass and two outdoor terraces line the long, south facing façade. The brick north facing façade forms the fourth side of a quad, with three 1960’s era buildings.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
